About me

I am a socio-legal scholar of digital technology with interest in the Internet, 3D Printing, artificial intelligence/automation, renewable energy and blockchain. I am currently based at the University of Dundee where I am Professor of Law & Technology in the Leverhulme Research Centre for Forensic Science and the Law School. I was previously Reader in Strathclyde University Law School where I co-directed the Strathclyde Centre for Internet Law & Policy. I was also Associate Dean of Knowledge Exchange in the University of Strathclyde Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences. I retain a visiting position at SCILP.

I am also a research associate at the Tilburg Institute for Law, Technology and Society (TILT) in the Netherlands.
